What is a Cold Aisle?
Definition: The cold aisle is a core form of server rack arrangement and airflow organization in a data center. By enclosing or semi - enclosing specific areas, the cold air delivered by the air conditioner is concentrated and directed to the air - intake side of the servers, preventing the mixing of hot and cold air and achieving "precise cooling and efficient heat dissipation".
